91 Pathfinder Radio Swap

Hello all, I am the owner of a lovely 91 Nissan Pathfinder. The stock radio broke, so I decided to put in an aftermarket. I bought the radio, wiring harness and antenna adapter. Hooked it all up and my 2 rear speakers in the trunk don't work, they have no sound...
When I did the install there is an extra cable... It's black, has several connector slots/holes in it and it's round, it looks like the really old keyboard cable connectors, I am thinking this is for the rear 2 speakers but I am not sure, all my local walmart had was a wiring harness and then the antenna adapter, it didn't mention needing a furthur adapter...
Can anyone please lend me some advice on this?
