2017 Pathfinder SV - How to Watch Movie from USB Drive?

Hi, I have a 2017 Pathfinder SV that does NOT have the entertainment package. I was told that I would still be able to watch movies saved on the USB drive, on the front touch/display screen if it's formatted as AVI with the Nissan specifications?
I have had vehicle for 3 years & still haven't gotten it to work; the files won't even show up when I insert into USB port, I can only see my audio files. I used the windows app WinFF to convert the video file to Nissan's specifications, (DivX compatible format with the Right FourCC code).
What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
