iPhone 3g/3gs on 2010 SE Premium Journey Package

I have an 2010 SE with the premium journey package, and cannot seem to find a way to interface my iPhone 3GS to my system so i can control it from the car's interface and steering controls.
Has anyone had any luck with this?
I have an SE with everything except the nav.
