2006 Factory 6-disc and MP3 wierdness

Ok, It's been driving me nuts!!!
I have 2 cd's that worked with MP3s. Anything else I try, no go....
BUT to my discovery, something may be amiss here with MP3 cd's and Nero Burning Rom...
I use nero of all my authoring, never had an issue. For some reason, my MP3 (data) cd's won't work. It's been driving me crazy!!!
So I try the built in burn to cd option in Windows 7... it actually worked!!!!
Anyone else run into this?
