The Nissan Path

My stereo remote control on my 08 Pathfinder isn't working unless i turn the steering wheel.

My cruise control settings are working as normal. I cant work out why when my wheel is level the controls are not working.

Anyone had this issue??

Also how do i know if my car has the music box installed?
