Blue tooth / GPS

I have a question regarding the GPS and Blue Tooth. If I have a destination programmed into the GPS and either receive or make a phone call, the map disappears and the phone information is displayed until the call is ended. This makes following the map rather difficult while talking on the phone. Is there a way to keep the map on screen, while on a call? So far I cannot figure this one out.
