Hey, I'm a visitor from z31performance, but I was hoping to find what I needed here. As the title states, I need a VG33E (I know it did not come turbo, but if you have turbo parts, feel free to hit me up). I'm in Central Florida (Orlando) and would be looking to spend in the range of $250 (JY prices) to $400 for one that can be confirmed in good(ish?) condition.

This would be for a VG33ET swap into a z31 300zx for anyone that is interested.

I think you should go lighter like an RB swap hehe preferably an RB26! good luck with the search.

Dear lord man, do you know how much harder and more work that would be? I assume this forum cares little about the 30 to 33 swap as it would be a downgrade. But it suffices to say, it's a direct drop in. VG30 crank, 33 pistons, 30 oil/water pumps, 30 cams and drop it in. Mounts line up from what I've read. Exhaust manifold mounting holes have to be drilled out a bit as the 33 uses 10mm studs as opposed to (retarded) 8mm studs. Slap the 3.0s optional turbo on there, turbo ECU will compensate for the .3 liter difference. Trannies are of course the same. It really is about as easy as any engine swap will ever get.

Sounds much much easier than an rb swap lol
