I want to know what everyone is using. I saw some great shots on this site and thought it would be fun to see what everyone likes to shoot with.

Let me start the poll. We just got our first DSLR camera for Christmas. Can't wait to get out there and take some great shots.

-What lenses do you have? 18-55mm Nikkor VR Lens

-Cool Accessories? None yet

Olympus E-3, primarily because of the great weathersealing & the fantastic lenses.

I used to have quite a few lenses, but have worked my way down to only 2: Zuiko 12-60 (24-120 in 35mm speak) and a Zuiko 50-200 (100-400).

Currently contemplating adding a Canon 7D, but will wait to see if they get some of the issues resolved first. I'm also keeping my eyes open for the Samsung NX10, which is a mini DSLR using an APS-C sensor, fully weatherproof...but it's a Samsung.

Absolutely bulletproof & I never leave home without them. I've had them completely submerged & they have worked like a charm.

Currently using a Canon XTI. Also have an old Canon rebel film camera.
Lenses; 17-55 2.8, 75-300, and the crap kit 18-55
Accessories; Got a wacom intuos4 for Christmas. Now I need to find room on my desk to put it. Wife has taken over, since she works from home now.
Also have a diffuser that sits right on flash mount. Go one stop slower on the speed and the pictures are as bright as without.

I'm using my old Canon EOS50 and EOS 40D. For the film scanning - Nikon LS50ED and my lenses are - 50/1.8, 28-70/2.8 (Sigma) and my lovely 24-105/4L IS. Of course a set of filters for every purpose (UV, Polar, Grey etc.). Also, the most important gadget - IR Remote bought for a 10$ - try to use it and you will open a lot of possibilities in photo

My wifes the photo taker but I some times will play along too.
She has a Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm VF/AF settings and soon to have a 55-200mm with VF/AF. She has a nice tri-pod with a mono-pod option for when we go hikeing.
We looked a the D90 but the housing was too big for her hands and the D60 housing was just perfect fit.

D-SLR setup:
Camera: Canon 50D
Lenses: 10-22, 17-40 f/4L, 28-135 IS, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 50 f/1.4 (all Canon)
External Flash: Canon 430EXII
Accessories: Tripod w/ ball head, monopod w/ tilt-swivel head, backpack, shoulder bag, graduated ND filters, non-graduated ND filters, polarizing filter, bounce card.

Point-n-Shoot setup:
Camera: Canon 790IS
Accessories: Waterproof case.

Nikon D300s. Just got it for Christmas replacing my old D70s and couldn't be happier. Got a battery grip for it already, and with a 32GB SDHC card I can shoot over 1K RAW images or endless HD video. For lenses I have several, Nikkor 18-35mm f3.5-4.5 ED, Nikkor 50mm AFS f1.4 ED, Nikkor 70-300mm ED, and a crazy Bower 800mm f8 manual focus mirror lens.

Racer, don't think you can write more than 4Gb of video to your 32Gb SDHC

...I mean - not endless, but congratulations, even though I'm in camp of Canonists I love this model!

Actually it'll only shoot 5 minutes of HD video at a time, so it would take a lot of work to fill up all 32GB . The sensor heats up and really isn't designed for continuous video and/or use of Live View. Lenses - 50mm 1.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 18-70mm 2.8, 70-300mm oldie
Accessories - SB600, battery grips, filters, tripods, backpacks, etc etc

This is why I shoot with the Olympus E-3 + sealed lenses:



Obviously this guy isn't shooting anything with all the snow covering the lens, or he's just a dork.

I've been drooling over the D300 since it first came out, but they just don't have the lenses to match the build quality of the body. I've used lens condoms before-been there, done that, will never do it again. I just see far too much dust, water & snow (in that order) & absolutely need something that can shrug all of that off. Sure wish Nikon would fit the bill.
