R51 SE mod for AUTO mode???

Hi guys.
I wonder which modifications one would have to go through, to enable a 2010 SE 4x4 model, to be equipped with the Auto 4x4 mode.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I understand, the only difference lies in the transfer case.
Is the wiring for the 4x4 switch identical on the SE and LE models? If yes, would I only have to replace the transfer case and the 4x4 switch on the dash?
