I happened to notice a titanium square nosed shovel available on the net which could be used as is or cut down to another configuration, cool thing is the $29 price tag;

The other cool thing is that Material Specialties Scandinavia, Inc. deals in surplus Titanium plate, tubing and bar stock so maybe some of my truck parts replacements and cutting tool projects can go ahead sooner than later.

oohhh....titanium...It just needs a carbon fiber handle! I just went online to order one and they are out of stock

and it only took them 4 years
