I'm on LI and I'd come out for a trip. Any where to go over there?

Not to sure to be completely honest. Gotta make sure the beasts can handle it. Do you have any word done?

Well, I'm 3 months late on this reply, but - Did you guys ever go? I'm looking for a few places, but all the spots I used to go in my area (Bergen County, NJ) are gone, or now illegal - Any ideas?

I just heard about Stokes Forest. Supposedly if you ask the park police you can access some of the fire roads and old logging trails. Its not too intense, but I think its the best we can hope for without driving all the way down to the Pine Barrens, or Rausch Park

I have hiked and camped there, and it shows up on a lot of Jeep forums as a place to go, I'm going to email them tomorrow to see what the actual deal is regarding off roading

Hey guys, Wharton state forest ( pine barrens) is the only LEAGAL off roading in NJ. I went down there on friday 4/12/13 to check it out and it was awesome. Im just starting to take my path off road. I was very impressed to see what it could do. I went thru about 18" of water with no problem. I was the only vehicle there so I didnt venture too far.
