Have to get a drone for the next one. And a locker. Also lift. Aggressive tires, too. Maybe a winch. Or a hi-jack. At least a come along and a tow strap.

I like the term "Mild Trails" in the title. Those weren't the most mild mannered tails for a stock R51. Starts out mild, and ends up a little more on the extreme side.

Looks like fun though!

Thanks for noticing! Heh, the wife did decide to get out and walk a few sections. It's just, I'd been watching off road videos from Colorado and Utah, this seemed so tame in comparison.

Links are good. Looks like fun, but mud is what broke the pinion mate shaft in my front diff! Framed out about 34 inches deep in a mud hole. Had to swim to get to my tow hook. If I'd had the Lokka I would have been fine. Well, still stuck, but I wouldn't have spun that poor diff to death.

was that the main reason to go through lokka?

Yup. Figured while I have it open I may as well! I'd already decided on the mech locker, couldn't justify the extra expense of an ARB, and the timing seemed right. Cheap but capable will be the theme of this build. Looks like our paths are wearing the same color! It's a hard time resisting a two tone camel and khaki, or khaki and od with some plastidip.

Well. I thought I liked the darker grey better, but it seems I can't tell the difference!

All that is really cool. I hope we will have the opportunity to try this year with the new 4 * 4
