Liwa

there is an area in the empty quarter of the saudi desert that crosses part into the Emirates.

its called Liwa (part of the Rub el Khali Desert).

very technical dunes, massive climbs, huge pitfalls, and most of all amazing sands u can drive on!!

Nice pics! Looks like a lot of fun. The only sand in my neck of the woods is the stuff you sink into mid-wheel.

Awesome...Great advertising...

We have some dunes a few hours north at Pismo beach...nothing like that though...I haven't tried my rig in the sand...I guess its time.

I hope you dont end up like that guy! Looks fun around there. But i would leave that kind of a place for ATV's and MX's.

i would prefer the safety of 6 airbags and a roll cage in a pathfinder instead, on those 100+ meter slipfaces. :wink:

a Canon DSLR, no idea which lens or settings, most probly an 18-200VR on ISO 200, not sure.
