I have noticed that i have some play in my steering wheel lately. There is no shaking in the wheel and the car doesnt really wander. is there a way to fix the play that i have.

In most cases, this requires replacement of the upper steering column. The bearing in the upper column fails, which caused play in the steering wheel. Nissan has a service part: part number 48811-EA260, which MSRP's for $550 and can be found online for around $420.
