Rear shock questions

The rear shocks are pretty straightforward, right? Two bolts off, pop the new one in, put the bolts back, done?

For the lowest bolt/nut, there is hardly any access to the nut. I can't seem to get it. Is this a buddy project?

Any other issues I should worry about?

.........very straightforward, did it with no additional help
needed a lot of different angled wrenches and universal joints with the ratchet & extensions for access
some people have a tough time because of corroded fasteners

Make sure you check the torque specs. The top is different than the bottom, but they are both pretty high...like around 165 ft/lbs or something in that area.

I recall using a pretty long breaker bar on the rear lowers....and that was when my PF was pretty new. Hoping my Bilsteins never need replacing!

Yeah, my 1/2" IR impact couldn't break the nuts loose on mine. I used a breaker bar with a pipe.

Fasteners were rusted pretty badly. It took a combination of a torch, penetrating oil, and the impact wrench with universal joints to get them off. I went with the less expensive KYB's, and they feel great compared to stock. The rear end doesn't wallow around like it did before.
