Rear shocks or air lift

I have noticed lately that my rear suspension is a little soft. It doesn’t show that much on pavement of course but on gravel roads it’s much more obvious. I think I may need new shocks as I’m at 150k and the current ones look original. my question is..
Do I get rear shocks without getting new front shocks, or do I get an airlift to buy time before replacing all four at the same time?

Air lift will only stiffen the ride. If they don’t dampen you will need shocks.
Do the bounce test and see how many times it cycles.

For me, if the shocks are suspect, I would replace them before installing air bags. You can replace the rears now and the fronts later, if you wish. Bilstein 4600's are a good choice for the rears; if you want to go with KYB, I'd go with the Gas-a-just. In the front, whenever you are ready for them, KYB Strut-plus strut assemblies are the way to go.
