Front Springs.....

Hi All,

So I just ordered replacement rear springs for my Pathfinder that are 20% stiffer due to having a broken rear spring.

However, I cannot find stiffer front springs for it here in the UK.

My question is, do the D40 Navara front springs fit the pathfinder? Shocks seem to be in good condition so they wont be getting replaced just yet.

Thanks

I wouldn't think so, being that the Pathfinder has rear independent suspension and the Navara has a straight axle. They aren't the same in North America (between the Pathfinder and the Frontier); the rear coil springs aren't even the same between the 2WD and 4WD Pathfinders. Over here, we find the stock, replacement springs offered by Moog are a lot better than the factory springs. They don't bottom out or sag like the original equipment. Maybe you can use them? The part #'s are:

4x4: Moog # 81119
2WD: Moog # 81121

Smj i think he is was asking about the Front not the Rear springs.

I think the front are more compatible than the rear. Like the pathfinder and the frontier

Oh, yeah! My bad! I guess the part of the broken spring threw me off! Well, in North America, front springs for 2WD are Moog # 81284 and 4x4 are Moog # 81280 for the R51 Pathfinder, D40/WD40 Frontier/Xterra with the V6. However, springs for the QR25DE powered Frontier are different and we don't have the 2.5L diesel, so it's hard to say if they're the same or not?

Direct replacement check OME (Old Man Emu) buy ARB
you are 2wd the 4wd are stiffer but not by alot.
Maybe search 4wd V8 Pathy front springs.

Overseas I have heard of Dobinsons having suspension parts.
