Need to replace both front CV Axle Shafts because of badly torn boots.

Should I just go OEM or does someone make a bigger/stronger one?
(Moog, SurTrack, etc)

If just the boots are torn, 4x4parts.com sells just the boots for $5.95 each. For whole axles, you're not going to want to spend the price for new, genuine Nissan shafts and aftermarket shafts are just as good. If you want heavy duty, you'll have to do a Titan swap.

Touchdown.. what he means with Titan swap is many parts from the Nissan Titan front suspension bolt onto R51 fronts too.

And of course they are a bit heavier duty.

They are all the same even titan swap boots will rip.
As far as cv axle strength the titan swap/v8pathy cv axle ends are stronger.

The rubber seems to get old and will crack overtime

Thanks guys all good info!

I was originally thinking to just change the boots, but since I'll have to disassemble everything anyway AND the axles are currently the weakest link...I wanted to see if I could upgrade them while I was there.

So without doing the entire Titan swap, is either the Titan or V8 Pathy axles a direct swap in?
I'm thinking they would be too long.

BTW - I did find boot covers that can be zip-tied to the inner boots to protect them from debris while off-roading . There's too tight a fit for them to fit the outer boots. I'll take a pic of them tomorrow and post it.

So not finding anything out there, short of a full frontal lobotomy....I mean swap, I've gone with OEM axles!

On the bright side...they have held up pretty well to lots of tough terrain!

V8 pathy cvs will fit but you need a m205 front diff.
Might as well complete the titan swap lol.

I seen those cv covers let me know how they hold up.
