The Nissan Path

On the front struts, the notched end of the spring, slots into a notch on the strut - it has to point outwards (towards the wheel) when reinstalling the strut.

For the rear spring, does this have to be the case?
Should the end of the spring spiral (at the bottom), have to face outward toward the wheel, similar to the front setup?
