Anyone had trouble with bolts being seized up when trying to do an alignment? Had the dealership tell me today that the rear alignment was off, but when they went to try to adjust the rear they said the bolts were seized. Any body have any thoughts on this?

not just a problem on the pathfinder. it's every vehicle. i dont know how many vehicles i aligned thet had rusted bolts. your not alone. replace them with cam bolts and when you do anti-seize the heck out of them. it makes us alignment guy happy with free moving parts.

I ended up finding used parts off of car-part.com. Got all four rear control arms for 160.00...saving me hundreds of dollars to go with used parts. Just put new Firestone Destination LE's on the vehicle so I am hoping to get this squared away quickly so I don't shred them.

the firestone le is not a great tire to begin with. make shure your alignment is good, keep the air up on them and keep them rotated. you need to do everything right to make that tire wear good. i havent seen many in our shop wear good.

I would have gotten the Destinations myself, but wanted a better snow tire. Went with Revo 2's.

Back to the subject, mine are seized too. just barley, but still not happy about that..

Yep mine are seized. Apparently you should do the whole control arm, as once they use a torch to cut out your seized bolts, the bushings tend to be cooked.

Had the same issue with my post-lift alignment. Kinda pissed me off since I just spent serious coin on the lift. I un-installed the old and installed the new parts myself and used a butt-load of anti-seize compound. As previously mentioned, the alignment guys were happy to see the anti-seize and told me that was the only way to combat future problems.
