Airlift 1000 or Firestone 4166 Coil-rite Air Spring

I'm having the "saggybutt" issue with my 2007 LE as well as the bottoming out crap. I'm looking to install one of these systems to fix the issue. There was another thread with the Airlift 1000 install pictures but they have been deleted from photobucket. Does anyone have any picutres or installation tips? I'm also having an issue with my front end as well. It feels like it's also bottoming out and clunking over the bumps with the steering wheel rolling left and right while hitting the bumps. Any ideas?

I don't know much about the Firestone but the install is all very straight forward. The jumpy front steering/suspension is very likely the alignment. I find mine gets really bad and then an alignment clears it up for awhile.

Did you ever decide to go ahead with an air bag kit? I just installed the Firestone kit and it was quite easy.

Going on 5yrs and lots of miles with my airlift 1000. I can't speak for firestone, but I think the above speaks for itself.
They don't look that different, just the color it looks like.

They are the same other than the Airlifts are red and the Firestone's are blue. Unless you have a color preference, go with the one's you can get at the best price.

Both products are very similar. The Firestone product comes with metal plates that would sit at the top and bottom of each bag. When the air pressure gets low, the metal plate can bounce, in the bottom bowl and makes a clinking sound, when you go over bumps. Sometimes it bothers me but does remind me to add a wee bit of air. I think the Airlifts may have plastic rings/stoppers and may not clink or rattle, at lower air pressure but would leave this answer, to folks that run the airlifts.
I have had my Firestones, for a couple of years, with no problems. Buy the one with the best cost, either one will work just fine.
