I have made the decision to purchase an Air Bag Lift Kit but have not decided on either the Airlift 1000 or the Firestone Coil Rite. I have called a couple of local shops and have been quoted around $150 for either kit, almost twice the price of what I have read in these posts. One shop has quoted a total install cost of approx. $250 if they do not remove the springs, around $300 if they do. None of the posts have mentioned removing the springs.

For those of you that have installed these, where did you get them and what was your landed cost (including freight, duties, etc.). Do you think $150 is a good price in Canada?

I live in the Vancouver / Lowermainland area and would like to hear from some locals, if possible. If there are other locals interested, we may be able to get a volume discount.

I used a border parcel service, ordered a few other parts at the same time.

The springs DO NOT have to be removed to install the bags. Who ever quoted you to do that is just trying to steal your $$$. I installed mine in about 1.5 hours including making and painting the bracket I mounted the air valves to. The kit was about $80 (USD) from the local auto parts store.
