The Nissan Path

right now it's only lifted 2"... over the Christmas weekend, my brother talked me into lifting the path 7" for a little over $5k installed by his shop... may cut into the frame and have custom made upper and lower control arms to fit the CST lift kit and leveling kit..

after the lift it will be 7" lift w/ 37" wheels.

Most likely going to happen after new years. I'll try to ask him to take pictures for the build.

it will be just as tall as his Tundra when finished

Very interested in seeing how you get all the lift out of the pathy. I have a 2" lift as well and have been happy with it as a daily driver.

Do you plan on using your pathy as a toy or daily driver after the lift?

Originally, this was going to be the family car, but after the lift, more like a toy. Looking to work on the gearing/trans/engine after so i can still drive it in the streets in the future.

might be trading in the a6 for a q7 so the wife will stop complaining about my hobbies.

If your looking to make it a wheeler I would skip the ifs and rfs and go solid axles.

I agree, for 5k you can def do a SAS.

problem is you gotta do a rear SAS as well.

If I felt like I needed 35s, I'd get a long travel kit.



Geometry/bracket lifts are garbage. They are weak and do not add any suspension travel which should be the prime objective of any aftermarket suspension.

A front and rear SAS would be cool for a crawler or a mud truck, but there are lots of platforms I'd start with before a Pathfinder. Just go buy a '93-'97 FZJ80 Land Cruiser which come stock with links, solid axles and lockers.
