The Nissan Path

I've had the Calimini lift on my 2010 Pathfinder now for about 2 weeks. I have had no issues what so ever with the quality of the product or the ride after install, but I did have a couple of issues with Calimini and its all-around length of time it takes to ship their product.

The 5" lift Nissan Pathfinder lift took about 1.5 months to receive and the coil overs took just shy of 6 months to come in! I called them just about once week and got the same song and dance "3 more weeks' speech" at one point they did offer me a discount on the coil-over, but when they finally shipped the coil-overs to me they suddenly got a case of amnesia about the discount????

In my opinion, they need to work on their customer service and shipping, but the product they sell is very nice when you finally receive it.

Any pictures of the final product? What did all the modifications set you back?

I ordered mine July 27'th 2012, received it January 10th 2013. And the CO's were still on back order, but I was already fed up and had gone with PRG UCA's and coilovers instead.

I can't believe how many times I too received the "3 weeks out" "4-6 weeks out", "another 2-4 weeks".

The overall cost was crazy high, but I figure what the hell you don’t see any Pathfinders lifted in Dayton Ohio and it a good conversation piece every time I stop to get out someone will come up and want to talk about it.

Overall I’m really happy with the end result but not happy with the time I wasted waiting on Calimini.

Calmini has been like that for years and years. That is why there is no Calmini products on my 2 Nissans.

What are the details on the wheels, width, offset, back spacing?

Do you have any rubbing?

The size is 17x8.5 6-114.3 and they did rub the front mudguards, but after taking them off I have no rubbing with full right and left wheel turns, but I wouldn't suggest that size tire without the coil over

The calimini coil overs can adjust the ride height that adjustment allowed for the wider tire. 295.70.17 I only needed a little adjustment but without that I would have rubbed and I did until the front mud guards were removed.

How much did you need to adjust? Does it sit level now?

I've got 295-65 18's (slightly shorter than yours about 0.1") with a 3.75" backspacing (-30mm offset) and needed to modify my fenders nearest the door. This is only because I wanted to maintain a semi-level stance vs a reverse rake.

I also removed the mud flaps and all the front plastic stuff under the bumper. So right now all that is on the front is the radiator skid plate, no plastic whatsoever. I still get some rub when turning and the wheel/tire/coilover is under compression on both the fender nearest the door still rubs, and also on the front bumper on the opposite side.

I paid Burton kreative motorwerks to install the lift and alignment. So I don't have all the details, but the pathfinder sits totally level and the only thing they had to take off was the front plastic mud flaps all the other stock plastic is still installed and I don't rub at all now that the mud flaps are off even when I go over street curbs I had to test it on something. I'll take a few more pictures tonight.
