Need Help renovating my 2008 Pathy - LIFT, TIRES, MORE

Hi guys, the past couple of weeks I've been toying with the idea of trading my pathfinder in for a newer Pro-4X frontier or Xterra... However the finances didn't align.

Instead I plan to renovate my completely stock 2008 pathfinder S into something a bit "Funner". Ive been having a hard time finding parts for this... Any suggestions?

What I want to do:

2"-3" lift/level - Any suggestion on brands? It seems like no one makes anything specificly for the pathfinder? I see lots for Xterra and Frontier.

New shocks... Not sure what size I'd require but I'd like to get some name brand shocks to get a stiffer ride.

Bigger tires... hoping for a 275-285 size instead of my current 245. Probably going to keep my stock rims. Again... any suggestions? Will these fit with a 2" lift?

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be great. I guess not many people do this... its hard to find info online!

Thanks!

my 08 pathy has the rancho quick lift which give 2" of lift. i just installed a 3" body lift. and im running hankook 295/75r16 tires which are 33.6" tall.
check out 4x4parts.com. they specialize in nissans.

Ive got the 2" rancho quicklift as well, with general grabber 33"s.
LOVE how it looks and rides now. Good luck! :)

Thanks guys, looks like the quicklift is a good route! much cheaper than the alternatives I saw.

Questions...
-Do I need new upper control arms? Do they hit the springs?
-Do I need new cam bolts for alignment?
-What is the biggest tire I can fit on my stock rim? (S model aluminum rims) Think 275/75/R16's would work? Roughly a 32 1/2" diameter and 11 inches wide

With a 2" lift, like the Rancho Quick Lifts and rear spacers, you won't need new upper controls arms. On my 2011, it did not come with the front camber bolts so I had to buy them and had them installed, for the front alignment. The factory rear camber bolts, were able to get the back end, back into spec.

depending on the tire you want you can fit a 285/75r16 tire

I have the competition suspension package from 4x4parts.com and love it. Also just put on Goodyear duratracs 265 70 17

next is a body lift.
