Diesel Suction Control Valve

I have been informed I need to replace the suction control valve for my 07 2.5 litre diesel but I can't find it listed in the repair manual. I have been quoted an hours labour at huge cost so I'd rather do it myself.
Can anyone tell me where it is under the bonnet? Part number NA6860EC09A.
Is it referrenced in the repair manual at all? I haven't been able to find it.
By the way is it the same as a fuel pressure regulator?
Please help if you can.
