hello everyone

ive been thinking of doing the radiator bypass but i just read that if you have an aftermarket radiator you should be ok. any idea how i can tell if its the oem one or an after market one?

i bought this car a year ago and i havent changed it.

if i was to do the bypass how much of a risk is there of the tranny overheating? i have a 2007 pathfinder S 4x4. i dont tow and only go on 4x4 when it snows. i do have about 7 people in the car once in a blue, but i doubt that makes a difference.

thanks for the help in advanced.

FYI, you have two transmission coolers. Unless you're towing at max capacity (6,000 lbs), there's no need for worry. Even with the bypass, a lot of people have done it without any issues.

An OEM radiator will have a Calsonic label on the top tank...assuming it hasn't fallen off or taken off.
