Clunk noise - hard to narrow down

Guys,
2011 4x4 V6. Only happens when it has sat over night. I will start truck up and start driving. I go about 75 yards in my neighborhood and then have to let off gas to make hard left turn. When I let off gas, and before I start to turn, there is a "click" or "clunk" noise coming from the engine bay area.

Now, if I start up when cold and drive straight without letting off gas for a few miles, I will never hear the noise.

Any ideas???

I'll try a bump....

I've tried all I can think of. I don't think it's causing damage or needs a quick repair, as truck runs fine. Just wondering what it could be.

Oh well.

It is a self-diagnostic routine for the ABS. Nothing to worry about.

Ok cool. Seems loud and surprised other's aren't complaining, but now I know. Thanks.

Yeah, the ABS self-check is pretty loud and can be disconcerting if you are not used to it! Since it's be going on since the 2005 miles, it's probably the reason we see only occasional posts about it these days.
