Help!!! what does this mean

So my fluid change helped a little but now I'm having another tranny issue it seems.. Got a service engine light tonight and my truck doesn't want to shift into 4 th great went to advance to pull the code and the chick says the code is for input pulley speed and turbine revolution sensor circuit. ... I don't have the code numbers what Does all this mean? I have a bad sensor on the tranny? How expensive and hard is this project gonna be?

I think thats what they call the Torque converter insides.
Would be really nice to have those code numbers OP

Its p1716 faulty turbine revolution sensor and of course it's a dealer only part local stealership quoted me 160 for the sensor but I've got some feelers out for a lower price and/or junkyard parts

ok so... finally got the part and attempted to tackle the job last Sunday and failed... anyone know of any tricks to get the top bolts loose on the bellhousing? mechanic friend of a friend says either lower the engine or take the intake manifold off... both seem to be a HUGE pain in the butt... Ive tried extensions, swivel adapters... I REALLY dont want to have to pay someone to change it for me. I know I can do it if I can get the last bolts to come loose
