The Nissan Path

I was just replacing the air filter on my LE V8 and I noticed this rubber hose just sitting there in front of the air cleaner assembly… there is a clip attached to the hose, but can't seem to find what it's supposed to be attached to. Is this a vacuum hose that is supposed to be connected somewhere? I hope someone can help… Thanks in advance!

Well, I can't see the pics, but I believe the part you are referring to is a vent hose, which should not be attached to anything nor plugged off. Vent hoses are use on differentials and transmissions. IIRC, the one on the air box is for the front diff.
