All,
Just received my oil sample report from Blackstone. The copper level was 18, with normal being 6. I'll let you read the report which is listed. Any input? Thanks.

2011 Pathfinder S
27,896 miles

Oil was Mobil 5w-30 Synthetic changed at 3,000 miles

Sounds like they gave you good advice. Sometimes you'll just see a goofy read.

curious about a few things......
was this the first oil analysis on this engine?
has it had the same oil used in it since new, always changed at 3K miles?
what kind of oil filters?

Yes, first oil analysis. I bought the truck with 23,000 miles on it. It now has 27,800 and change.

It had conventional oil from the dealer, and no clue what was used from the previous owner.

I use Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic and Mobil 1 extended performance filter, supposedly good for 15,000 miles. I changed at 3,000 miles after the first run with synthetic.

I will go to 5,000 miles and do another sample and see the results.

Thanks for input.
