300 miles in 4hi

Just got home from a ski trip and realized I was in 4hi the entire time. Snow and ice at the top of the mountain for about 5 miles and then dry curvy roads for 50 miles then straight highways the rest of the way to my driveway. Forgot to switch back to 2wd. Everything seems to be fine. How bad did I mess up?

No big deal. Just don't drive around in a tight circle on dry pavement and it will be fine

I did the same thing with my Jeep some years ago when it had 5,000 miles on it and it was just fine I drove it another 200,000 before selling it and the 4x4 never quit..... Don't worry about it like AR-45acp said as long as you are not taking tight corners on dry pavement it will be just fine.

I found it a bit strange when reading about it on a Youtube Nissan Video FROM Nissan. And it’s states that it will only hamper fuel economy and tire usage/wear, but mentions nothing about damage to the driveline. Interesting coming from the company.

I ended up bringing it too my mechanic just to be on the safe side. He was very certain that no damage was done beside some extra tire wear. Thanks for the help, guys. Just for the record, I reached 90mph on a highway in 4hi... that shit is scary. Won't make that mistake again.
