transmission upgrades?

I have an 05 (r51) pathfinder due to the wonderful radiator issue i get to rebuild my trans, my question is there upgraded parts for it? Im thinking of putting a supercharger on and i would like to beef up the trans while im in there. Any help is appreciated

Please photo document your work, will be pretty interesting to watch / go along. As far as upgrades I haven't heard of any, but that's not to say there isn't any

I haven't heard of anyone doing this. However, the transmission is shared with several platforms, including the Titan. Therefore, it may be possible to swap the torque converter from the Titan. With that would have to come the TCM. Not sure about fitment issues or driveability, It could be messy!

Would love to pair up one of the more modern 8 speed trans to this power plant. Was in a rental Toyota Corolla the other day and even that thing had one. You now have Dodge Rams getting better MPG than our beloved R51 in part due to their 8 speeds
