The Nissan Path

Hi guys, I have a 2007 2.5 diesel auto. Today it was cold so I warmed the engine before leaving my drive. After 30 second the 4WD light came on and I was not able to go more than 10mph.

I pulled over turned the engine off and restarted and had no further problems.

Is this likely to be because of the cold or something more sinister?

If it was freezing temperatures, it's possibly weather related. Time will tell, of course. If it continues to happen, I would have the 4WD control unit checked for trouble codes.
