The Nissan Path

When driving in 4H or 4LOW my pathfinder makes a rattling noise on snow if traction is uneven.
For example if I drive up a hill on snow with wheelspin it rattles as I chugg forward. On flat straight forward with even traction there are no noises.
Lately I have heard a clunking sound when turning out my driveway.
When in 2H everything is ok.

Anyone have idea what can be wrong?

What year is your Pathfinder?

It is a 2010 model.

I was under the car earlier today and discovered the joint on the shaft from transfer box to front axel were totally worn out.

New complete shaft is now ordered.

So happy the not was a bigger problem!
