Are the factory ignition coils considered a wear-and-tear item? I replaced the spark plugs at 85k miles with NGK iridiums. Now at 151k miles, just wondering if I ought to replace the coils next time I replace the plugs. I’d rather do them both at the same time since the intake plenum has to come off anyway. I’m having no drivability issues at the moment, it’s still strong and pulls like an ox!

No, they're not. Replace them if they go bad. Leave them alone if they're working fine.
