ABS & 4WD Codes

Hello. I think this is my first post here, though I've found a ton of answers and info here browsing before.

Couple of weeks ago while out-of-state, the VDC and Slip lights came on for a single, brief drive (30mins?). Next time, they were gone. (The last time I got these lights was a couple of years ago, and it turned out to be a camshaft sensor that I replaced and it was good.) So, went home and used a BlueDriver Code Reader and got the following codes (ignoring ones for a defunct cruise control and old TPMS sensors):

ABS System
C1142: Pressure Sensor Circuit

4WD
P1814: 4WD detect switch
P1819: Shift actuator circuit

So, is there any relation between these codes? Or all they all separate issues? Do I need to fix any of the issues immediately? Any physical manifestations of these codes I could/should check for?

Thanks for any help!

Maybe. But the C1142 is like P0705 on a Versa, the ABS ECU is blaming the wrong part. Replace your brake pedal switch, the two throws inside the switch have gotten out of sync with one another and the ABS is calling it a pressure problem.

Hey, sorry for replying so late.

So, is the brake pedal switch the same as the brake light switch? Because I cannot find a part called "brake pedal switch" for a 2007 Pathfinder. Is there a different part name or number I should be looking for?

Thanks!

Yes.

Sounds like you're getting things figured out.

I had a bunch of electrical problems with my Pathfinder this past year. I ended up needing a new ABS Module, IPDM, and ECU.
