Pretty sure I found why I was popping OBD Cat Codes. I haven't gotten there just yet but I'm also confident that the back pressure caused from this has either cracked the Pax Manifold, blown out the manifold gasket or blown out the gasket between the manifold and upstream cat.

I have a set of JBA shorties laying around that I will install since have to go this deep anyways. Just need to decide if I'm going to replace both upstream cats (I'm sure I will since I'm here and I don't feel like doing this again) and if I will swap out the front pipes or keep the stockers.

Thanks for the pics!

I just also had cat go bad on ym V6 Xterra (near identical engine/tranny/exhaust) and did both cats because due to age/milage I expected the other one to go too .
