The Nissan Path

My Pathy is surging when I let of the gas and when I'm slowing down, like it wants to keep going. Has anyone had this problem with their Pathy, and what was the out come? BTW Love the forum!!

Is it just down shifting?

no not down shifting. It is surging forward. I have never had this problem with any of my cars before.

try replacing the air filter. my 06 4wd le would surge slightly when decelerating. i noticed the rpms were about 1000 when i let off the gas pedal, after replacing the air filter idle dropped to about 700 rpms no more surging.

I have a new cold air intake with new filter.
