Service Engine Soon Light- Fix

Had the dreaded Service Engine Soon light illuminate (solid) a couple of days ago...I reseated the cap and drove about 60-70 miles, and the light stayed on.
Good News!! It was the fuel level sending unit that is covered by warranty. Warranty was extended 10yrs past in service date, and to 72,000 miles.
Maybe someone has already covered this, but I thought I'd post.
I saw the dealer cost for the repair- $320. My invoice said 0.
