The Nissan Path

I posted this in my question about a radiator bypass but I think it is being overlooked.

OK, now I am really confused.

Had the trans flushed today and the fluid showed no problem. However, the shop mgr told me he thought the radiator had been replaced as it looked new. I have bypassed it as noted earlier.

My radiator part number is 21460 ZL11A and begin a Google search.

A quote from another blog: "It's listed everywhere that part number 21460-9CA0E supersedes part number 21460-ZL11A"

another from the same blog: "21460-EA216, which I found was replaced by 21460-9CA2E"

Yet another blog: "21460 EA215 - to fix the problem it was replaced with part number: 21460 ZL11A (which has another part number of 21460 9BAOE it is the same part though)"

I count six different part numbers being discussed and several statements that are directly contradictory! I may be mixing Nissan models as well by referencing these other blogs.

Can someone be definitive for an '05 Pathfinder? I just bought the car and trying to determine if the original owner changed the radiator and if so, why?

In my case i have the original radiator number 21460-EA215, I call the Nissan dealer (Mexico), I give them the VIN number also and they say that the new part number that replaces the original radiator is 21460-9CA0E

I Just call a friend that has a PF 2008 SE with 150,000 kms (93,000 miles) with no bypass and no issues with the tranny and also have the radiator part number 21460-EA215 same as mine 2007

I will check what part number has the 2005 and 2006 here in Mexico
