Trans temp gauge options

I've been searching in vain for an easy way to monitor trans temp before (and after) I do the trans by-pass. The best I've come up with thus far is a 52mm gauge and sender mounted with an M10-1.0 to 1/8" NPT adapter kin the existing port on the trans. My in-dash "pocket" is full of my Sirius PnP receiver, so I don't want to mount it there, and frankly, I'd rather get the info from the OBD-II bus if it is present.
My ScanGauge is (probably) a no-go too. Linear Logic claimed to be looking into it years ago. I emailed last week and the response was that they would pass my info on to their engineers, but they are currently busy with Mazda stuff.
Ultragauge's site states that they don't report mfg-specific data, like trans temp.
I just emailed the AeroForce people, and I'll report back what they say.
I've come across a few others with no positive results. Anyone?
Thanks.

I
knew I saw something here earlier that worked - thanks!
So how do you like it now that you have had it for a while? Any reason not to save some $ at this point with the Bullydog Watchdog for ~$216?
Also, based on the temps in your thread, it looks like a replacement cooler, or at least an add-on fan is a great idea.

In case you have not checked out their webpage, they do list other available gauges:
http://www.scangauge.com/support/xgauge ... -vehicles/
By the way, I found that my SG2 said the system protocol for my 2006 PF is: ISO. Thought they would have used a “CAN” system.
Another site I plan to search & ask where some SG gurus have helped others is:

I got mine from them about 2 mo ago. Have not tried some of the X-Gauge commands yet. But I too, have a need for the trans temp readout so will inquire soon.

I played around with some X-Gauges when I first got the SG2, mostly to try to get the trans temp. I don't even remember what I did get to work other than estimated HP - that one is kinda fun
I've searched on the cleanmpg forum, but haven't asked there - please let us know if you get anywhere!
Some docs from Aeroforce (and my SG2) concur that the 2006 pathfinder is ISO. Apparently 2007+ is CAN.
