We purchased our Pathfinder in December of 2011 for the 2012 model year. I noticed the night we drove it home that the idle was a bit weird. Vibrations could be felt when the idle dropped to around 700 rpm.
Took it in and the service tech (real nice guy) was able to duplicate it. Now 4 months later it's doing the same thing. The last time it did it and this time I took pictures with my phone.
The idle on this vehicle has been a constant Hit and Miss with the dealer, (Metro Nissan) in Montclair, Ca. Only one time was the Tech able to "Duplicate" the problem. He contacted Nissan and they had him "Fiddle" with the Idle relearn, as if the car had a brain fart. As of this writing Oct 3, 2012, it still does what it wants.. and Nissan can do nothing..

This vibration you've described is not uncommon to these trucks. Does having the AC off make any difference in this low rpm vibration?

have the same issue, but my truck has 37K on it already. Just had the 30K service done, so new fluids, filter, air cabin filter, cleaned fuel injectors and other stuff, and had the idle re-learned since the idle was rough. I must say, the truck feels like it was when it was brand new.

hoping the rough idle does not come back....

Had the same issue on my 12 Frontier that I bought a month ago.
Took it to the dealer with 1k on it and had them bump the idle 50rpm. Idle is smooth now.
