poor throttle response?

Im wondering if anyone has tried to improve this. Or if any tuners out there help the bad throttle response of the V8. I know my vehicle is running fine and that there is no problem. Its just something that bugs me. I just hate the fly by wire throttles. On many newer cars they have a computer controlling the throttle body instead of your foot. Ultimately this leads to a lack of throttle response or lag compared to a direct throttle body link. I have noticed it on many newer cars I have driven. My brothers audi q7 and dads yukon is is pretty bad. My moms Infiniti is probably the best I have experienced. Poor throttle response can make a quick car feel slow sometimes. Do any of those tuners out there help throttle response?

Is your truck 4x4? If not, then the Superchips has a setting for this, WOT restriction off.

Originally they had it available for the 4x4s, but apparently they removed it.

Bullydog owners pipe up! Does the Bullydog have this feature?

According to doctahjones, it (BullyDog) does not have that feature.

Also, not sure if it was a recall or more minor TSB about the throttle response, but my 03 Maxima had a TSB on certain models that required a realer re-program.

My TR seems fine, never noticed a lag., so you might want to check the TSB's.

SO what does the WOT restriction do? It actually improves normal throttle response? Im not really worried about WOT acceleration. Im not to familliar with the tuners. I have a 4x4 V8

Bully Dog also has a disclaimer, in regards to the WOT. I was looking at the manual, on line briefly and noticed this. I wanted to research this more, before making a decision to buy. Sorry, not at home and working off the phone and do not have the link. You could Google manual for Bully Dog 40410. It does answer some of your questions.
