Hello! This is a problem - my Nissan on the way to another city from my flat on the road and a speed of 100 - 110 km per hour at a distance of 760 km has used 130 liters of petrol! ((((It was my first long ride on this machine. Before it only went on in the city, and after the Toyota Avensis 2.0, of course, the flow seemed to me up .... But not as much!!Yes, the road I took the battery, I'm not taking it off charge, then started the car. Now, then, I think, she has to spend so much gasoline, because I went to it, I do not like it, and then hand the fuel falls straight in my eyes. Today, the average rate showed 6.5 MPG - this is very much!!! Check off, running smoothly.

If you are only getting 6.5mpg, then something is not right. I get between 22-26 mph on the open road and around 19-20 around town. I am a light footed type of driver (now days) but 6.5mpg sounds low even if you are racing down the road.

34.34 gallons consumed in 456 miles = 13.27 mpg

I get about 21 L/100 km (11.2 mpg) in the city. It is however friggin' super cold right now, and I'm sure that affects the mileage. I did find that a little heavy still though.

What's everyone else getting? If you can, list both the MPG and the L/100 km so both metric and imperial is displayed.

OK I feel better about mine, it hovers around 18L/100km (13.05 MPG). I seem to remember getting better mileage when it was newer, but maybe I'm out to lunch.

My 06 LE VQ40DE AWD is getting 17 MPG average right now; it'll do a lot better on long, highway runs, usually getting 20 MPG, but around town it'll drop to 15 to 16 MPG. I use regular unleaded 87 octane and didn't notice any difference when I tried using premium unleaded.

I should clarify my mileage with some conditions:

Winter - Temps -10C to -30C - 50/50 City/Hwy, lots of idling - 18L/100km (13MPG)
Winter - Temps -10C to -30C - 30/70 City/Hwy, minimal idling - 15L/100km (15.6MPG)

Summer - Temps 10C to 20C - 50/50 City/Hwy, lots of idling - 15L/100km (15.6MPG)
Summer - Temps 10C to 20C - 30/70 City/Hwy, minimal idling - 13L/100km (18MPG)

I average 17MPG with mix city & highway driving. Highway I get around 22mpg if I stay 60-65mph. I drop down to 19-20mpg at 75-80mph. Then I get about 10mpg city driving, especially rush hour in Manhattan

Guys, thank you all for the answers ... But I would like to know - because of what my baby could be so much fuel? Not whether it was after sitting down my battery? Not did this affect fuel consumption?

Wow! That's much better than what I'm getting. Are you running premium fuel? I am, and I thought that would translate to better mileage.

Are there some other things I should be doing to increase the mileage? I'm in "auto" for about 1/4 of the time due to snowy and icy roads right now. Should I maybe get a new performance air filter, or chip mod, or something?

With the stock tires on I was getting 18-22 ave with more hyw. Driving then around town.
Now with the Bfg 265/70r17 load E I. Getting around 15-16 with all local driving and I try to get 19 on the expressway at 65mph

I do have a Superchips tuner, but am only running the stock tune right now. Fuel is Co-op 87 regular. These numbers get a lot worse when my wife is driving, little Miss Heavy foot...

Also note that my numbers are a reflection of the fuel economy the trip computer displays, reset and observed over a period of time.

I seem to remember getting *MUCH* better fuel economy when I first had my truck in 2008. It had 95k kms on it. I recall getting about 300-350km on 1/2 a tank (40L). I seriously wonder if my fan clutch is shot, and always on. That would be a huge draw on fuel economy, especially in stop-and-go type driving.

I did replace my primary o2 sensors (otherwise known as Fuel/Air Sensors) about a year ago.
