transmission by pass (what do I need)

Just hit 80k so out of warranty what parts do I need to do bypass and how hard is it I have 2006 2.5 dci thanks

Your European made pathy may not have an air/oil cooler, as I believe this is an option on Euro models.
That being said, without adding one, you can't do the bypass as you would have no cooling at all if bypassed.
Based on our observations, European models don't seem to be affected by this defect.
I think you are in the clear!

As a matter of fact, euro diesel Pathfinders do have this issue. I look at one of the Russian forums - plenty of threads about this stuff. If you have auto tranny - you got the same problem.

Interesting.
Still there is the issue of whether or not the air/oil cooler is present. Its standard on all North American pathys because all of ours have the factory tow package.
So the bypass may be a bit more complex for some of you guys, since an air/oil cooler needs to be installed. In this case, I would opt for Radiator replacement.

I used a 3/8 double barbed connector to join them and rubber vacuum caps to plug the radiator
