Hi
My turbo or thats what i think it is, is making a whinning noise around 2000 rev mark, a - is that normal? B - is there anything i can do to make it less noisey? Or C- is it on thw way out and could it damage the engine ?

Do you have a diesel engine? Otherwise never heard of a turbo R51 assuming it is stock.

I don't have experience with that motor but I have owned a couple turbo charged cars in the past. Can you explain the whining sound? Does it sound like air or a whistle or does it have a metallic or rattling sound?
