so i discovered that i have an exhaust leak between my b pipes and my cats. so i figured i have a choice here. i can either just fix the exhaust to stock or upgrade. i was thinking headers and cat deletes. opinions?

I'd look to see how much it would cost to repair to stock, and then compare that to how much it would be to upgrade. If the cost to repair to stock is 60% or more of what the upgrade cost is, I'd go for the up grade.

If you delete the front cats, then you'll have to deal with the O2 sensors or you'll be having your check engine light going off due to catalytic inefficiency. You also may have trouble getting through inspection, depending on where you live. Removal or tampering with the catalytic converters is a federal offense.

When something breaks on my path I usually smell an upgrade! What headers would you get?

i have used o2 sensor spacers in the past with great success on other platforms. so i figured i would do that again. Inspection where i am is check for codes and if no codes your code, plus i have known the shop owner for years.
