The Nissan Path

I just got a rhythmic sound coming from under my car that changes with my speed and I can feel in the body of the car. Sounds like it's coming from underneath and the front wheel, maybe?

While driving, it gets quieter when I turn the wheel slightly. And when I step on the brakes swiftly something under the car clunks and the sound goes away.

Thoughts?

that or a bad wheel bearing? does the noise change at all when making a sharp turn?

When I had a bad U joint I could feel mechanical play in it by grabbing it and trying to move it under the truck. Doesn't always work that way but mine did...
