What the heck are those high pressure lines around radiator?

I'm trying to get the radiator out of my 08. I disconnected the metal line on the right side (drivers side) of the radiator and it shot an oily green substance all over the place at very pressure. Is that refrigerant?

Yes indeed.

Hope you didn't get any of that in your face. I know it's a moot point now but you don't have to disconnect the refrigerant lines to replace the radiator. You'll need to take your truck to a shop to have a vacuum pulled on the refrigerant system and have it recharged.

Nissan adds green dye to the refrigerant at the factory, which is why it's that color. They are a pain in the ass to work around to get the radiator in and out, but as already mentioned, they don't have to be disconnected to R&R the radiator.
